From city to country:
Born and bred in Sydney, Michelle Martignoni graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing / Economics / English Literature) and embarked on a marketing career, starting in advertising as a strategic planner before spanning into market & social research and client side-planning.
Michelle has done thousands of qualitative interviews, hundreds of quantitative projects and stood directly beside creative teams in the development of 360 degree campaigns, in categories ranging from biscuits to bananas to alcohol to oncology medications. She has also worked in agency senior management above a team of 30 people.
In 2016, Michelle left the city and moved to regional NSW (South Golden Beach, north Byron Shire) when she also began working with clients with more of a regional focus. In 2024, Michelle and her partner swapped the lush, sub-tropical rainforests of northern NSW for the white sands and sandstone mountains of the NSW south coast. This is now her home. This is VOICES.
Today, Michelle is a passionate hiker, land-lover and advocate for local communities driving their own destinies.
